Cat Hope has been involved with pop bands since 1990. Starting by playing bass guitar in Sicilian guitar band The Quartered Shadows (Berlin, Germany 1990 - 92), Cat has also been a bass player and singer in MiceVice (Catania, Italy 1993-97) and Gata Negra (Perth, WA 1998-2006), as well as doing her own solo piece for voice and bass under her own name, that she continues today (1993-). Her bands have done supports for the likes of Nirvana, Hole, Primus, Crime and the City Solution, Tim Rogers, Art of Fighting and many others.
She has played flute on albums by Hugo Race (Second Revelator, 1991) and done a number of collaborations and remixes for bands around the world. Her songs have been release on a number of international labels
