Cat is giving a presentation to the University of Western Australia research seminar series on Tuesday 4th of August, at 5pm, talking about her Australia Research Council funded project, the Western Australian New Music Archive (WANMA) that was launched earlier this year. It's free, more information here.
Cat has written a peice for Julia Douhin's project Sweet Tribology. The peice is called Pulupe Strings, and is a response to an old gramaphone record track sent to Cat. It features Viola, Cello, Double Bass and Cat singing. Here is a Pozible Campaign - to make a chocolate record of Cat's peice - and a whole range of other wonderful artists peices - yes - you can have one too! Look at the lovely cover below, and a great video about the project is here.
Cat was quoted in the Western Australia Newspaper this last week about her submission to the Australian Goverment regarding arts funding. If you would like to read Cat's submissions to the NPEA inquiry, and call for feedback on the guidelines you can find them here and here.
